A science fiction author claims he has an alien skull bought from a street seller in Mongolia - but needs £11,000 for a DNA test to prove it.
Li Jianmin recently revealed the "extraterrestrial skull" at a seminar in the Chinese capital of Beijing.
According to local media, the brown-coloured skull has a diameter of 16 centimetres and has two different layers.
The 55-year-old UFO scholar said that the skull belongs to a private collector who bought it from a street seller in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia.
Jianmin said that the collector was reading one of his science fiction books when he came across an illustration of an alien skull that looked a lot like the one he bought.
The collector got in touch with Jianmin, who spent four months producing a 103-page study to support claims the skull is real.
