It’s hard to believe that we may soon be able to purchase a portable charging device that never has to be recharged and doesn’t use batteries. After all, these are the types of devices we read about in science fiction novels and see on sci-fi television shows. But it looks like it is truly about to happen. Steorn, the Irish technology and development company, will soon begin selling the world’s first free energy device, which it refers to as the Orbo PowerCube.
The Orbo PowerCube isn’t much to look at. It is really nothing more than a small square electronic device with USB charging ports. Steorn claims the small portable power station will charge an array of electronic devices, never having to be recharged itself. This means the little cube could provide free energy indefinitely (in theory, anyway).
